Patrice’s ultimate goal is to humanize mental health. Pat has dedicated his career to helping others. After spending over 16 years in commercial positions in the medical industry, he moved to Boston where he experienced severe mental health challenges that almost took his life. His recovery journey led him to self-discovery and to complete a peer specialist certification.

On top of helping others, Pat led education committees as well as developed and conducted multiple interactive mental wellness trainings for both individuals and companies.

Today, Pat is involved in highlighting his unique profession, educating and raising awareness on the importance of mental wellness through monthly column writing, his websites and various appearances on social media platforms and online mental health communities.

More recently, Patrice has launched his own mental health consulting company called Human Experience Peer Consultant which offers education, trainings and employee program development to corporations, organizations and associations. He brings his unique and essential peer perspective and trauma-informed approach, in addition to a solid business background and peer specialist expertise and experience.
